Cantina Tollo
This Italian wine company is based in the village of Tollo in the Abruzzo region. The Sangiovese is fragrant and full bodied; perhaps a little too oaky. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable with tonight’s Tomato/basil chicken dish! Interestingly, a cycling team was sponsored back in the early 2000’s and raced at Le Tour.
